Following inventions of 21st century have changed our way of life and have an imporatant role in our lives:

 Bluetooth:

Although Bluetooth was launched in 1999, but the first phone with Bluetooth technology came into market in June 2000. It was Ericsson T36 phone. Bluetooth provides wireless connection for transferring data between mobiles and many other electronic devices over a short distance. It uses radio waves technology for transferring data and is a great invention of 21^st century.

Facebook:

Facebook was introduced by Mark Zuckerburg in February 4, 2004. At first it was only used by Harvard University students. Now, it is the most popular social networking service with billions of users all over the world. It connects us to the people all over the world and able us to share our views, interests and posts with others.  In 2010, it was the most downloaded app globally.

YouTube:

YouTube hit our screens in 2005. It was invented by Steve Chen, Jawed Karim and Chad Iturley. It is an online video sharing platform. Because of its popularity and huge traffic, it became difficult for owners to manage computers and internet connections. So in November 2006 it was sold to Google in $1.65 billion. It is the second popular app with 1.9 billion users. On YouTube we can find and upload videos about entertainment, education and all other topics.

Smartphones:

Although smartphones existed before 21^st century, but major technology advancements came in smart phones in 21^st century. First android smartphone was introduced by HTC Dreamin 2008. Now we can access anything with single click on our touch screens. It has become an important part of our life and we can’t imagine our life without it.

4G and 5G:

4G (LTE) was introduced on December 14, 2009, in Stockholm, Sweedan, and Oslo. 4G provides 20 times faster internet speed than 3G. 5G also has been launched in late 2018. It gives the fastest internet speed and high quality video streaming. The fastest 5G, known speed serves to the users is upto 2Gbit/s.
